Purpose of this website

The information on this website is intended to provide you with an initial, general overview of the treatments and procedures offered within the practice. It is of a general nature and does not take your personal situation into account.

This information does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or consultation. Never make decisions based solely on these texts, and never delay a medical appointment because of something you have read here.

No obligation of result

Medical treatment involves an obligation of means and not an obligation of result. This means that the physician undertakes to perform the treatment carefully in accordance with the state of the art and applicable medical standards, but that no specific result can be promised or guaranteed.

The final result varies from person to person and is determined by factors such as skin quality, age, genetic predisposition, smoking, medication use, scarring, wound healing, weight fluctuations, hormonal factors, and the correct follow-up of aftercare instructions.

What happens before a treatment

What is possible and appropriate in your situation is determined during a consultation, based on a clinical examination and your medical history. During this meeting, the purpose, process, risks, possible complications, alternatives, and aftercare will be discussed with you.

This information is subsequently recorded in writing in an informed consent form, which you sign before the treatment. You will always be given the opportunity to ask questions.

Cooling-off period

Every procedure is preceded by two consultations, with at least two weeks in between. You therefore never have to decide on the spot.

For procedures with a purely aesthetic purpose, the statutory period of fifteen days between the signing and the procedure additionally applies. The financial arrangements are stated in the agreement you sign and in the terms and conditions.

Your rights as a patient

The physician’s duty to inform is fulfilled in accordance with the law of August 22, 2002, regarding patient rights and the ethical guidelines of the Medical Association. You have the right, among other things, to:

  • clear and understandable information about your state of health and the proposed treatment
  • free consent, which you may refuse or withdraw at any time
  • access to and a copy of your patient file
  • protection of your privacy
  • filing a complaint with the competent ombudsman service

Visual materials and testimonials

Photos on this website are illustrative unless explicitly stated otherwise. They do not show a treatment result and are not intended to create an expectation. Patient experiences displayed on this website are personal experiences; they do not indicate the result you may expect yourself.

Reimbursement

Treatments with a purely aesthetic purpose fall outside the reimbursement system of compulsory health insurance and are subject to VAT. Whether a contribution is possible in your situation will be discussed during the consultation and always confirmed in writing beforehand.
