Regenerative skin improvement & injectables

Non-surgical treatments for skin quality, volume restoration, collagen stimulation, and natural rejuvenation.

What are injectables?

Injectables are non-surgical treatments where active substances are introduced into the skin or underlying tissue via fine injections.

Depending on the product, the treatment may be aimed at:

  • improvement of skin quality
  • restoration of volume
  • softening of expression lines
  • stimulation of collagen
  • support of skin regeneration
  • treatment of early-stage hair loss

Within my practice, the emphasis is primarily on regenerative treatments, such as PRP, PRF, and biofiller. These utilize the body’s own material and fit within a natural, refined approach to skin rejuvenation.

During a consultation, we will determine which treatment or combination is most suitable.

PRP and PRF

PRP and PRF

PRP and PRF are regenerative treatments where the body’s own blood is used to support skin repair and tissue regeneration.

After a small blood draw, the blood is processed into a fraction rich in platelets and growth factors. These substances play a role in the natural repair of skin and tissue.

PRP and PRF can be applied for:

  • improvement of skin quality
  • fine lines
  • dull or tired skin
  • support of skin repair
  • early-stage hair loss

PRF also contains a fibrin-rich matrix, allowing growth factors to be released more gradually. Consequently, PRF fits well within a natural and regenerative approach.

biofiller

Biofiller

Biofiller is a treatment where the body’s own blood plasma is processed into a gel-like substance that can be used to improve skin quality, fine lines, and subtle volume loss.

In contrast to classic fillers, no synthetic filler is used; instead, a product is prepared from the patient’s own blood.

Biofiller may be of interest for:

  • fine lines
  • tired skin
  • subtle volume loss
  • improvement of skin texture
  • natural rejuvenation without classic fillers

The goal is not a pronounced increase in volume, but a gentle, natural improvement of skin quality and support.

microneedling

Microneedling

Microneedling is a treatment where fine needles create controlled micro-channels in the skin.

This stimulation triggers the skin’s natural repair process and can support collagen production.

Microneedling can be applied for:

  • fine lines
  • enlarged pores
  • acne scars
  • superficial scars
  • dull skin
  • general skin improvement

The treatment can be combined with PRP, PRF, or other regenerative products to further support the effect on skin quality.

polynucleotides

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are injectable biostimulating substances that improve skin quality and support the skin’s natural repair.

They are often applied when the skin appears thinner, less elastic, or tired, without the desire for extra volume.

Polynucleotides may be of interest for:

  • reduced skin quality
  • fine lines
  • thin skin
  • skin aging around the eyes
  • dry or less elastic skin

The effect develops gradually and is primarily focused on skin repair and regeneration.

Polynucleotides are often derived from purified salmon DNA. This is medically processed into an injectable product that can be safely used for skin improvement.

BIOSTIMULATORS

Biostimulator

Biostimulators are injectable treatments that encourage the skin to produce its own collagen.

Unlike fillers, they do not primarily provide volume, but instead stimulate the body to gradually create new connective tissue.

Biostimulators can help with:

  • early-stage skin laxity
  • loss of elasticity
  • less defined facial contours
  • need for structural skin support

The result emerges gradually and focuses on firmness, skin structure, and support.

Skin boosters

Skin boosters

Skin boosters are injectable treatments that improve skin hydration and quality.

They usually contain a light form of hyaluronic acid that attracts and retains water in the skin without adding significant volume.

Skin boosters can be used for:

  • dry skin
  • fine lines
  • dull skin
  • reduced elasticity
  • skin that appears less fresh

The goal is smoother, better hydrated, and fresher-looking skin.

HYALURONIC ACID FILLERS

Hyaluronic acid fillers

Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are used to restore volume, improve contours, or soften wrinkles and folds.

They can be applied to areas including the:

  • lips
  • cheekbones
  • jawline
  • chin
  • nasolabial folds
  • marionette lines
  • tear trough

The goal is not to change the face, but to subtly restore balance and support.

botulinum toxin

Botulinum toxin

Botulinum toxin is used to temporarily relax specific muscles.

This allows expression lines, which result from repeated muscle movements, to be softened.

Typical zones include:

  • frown lines
  • forehead wrinkles
  • crow’s feet
  • bunny lines
  • subtle eyebrow lift
  • jaw muscles
  • excessive sweating

The goal is a calmer and fresher appearance while maintaining natural expression.

procedure

What is the process for an injectable or skin improvement treatment?

Every treatment begins with an analysis of skin quality, facial balance, and expectations.

Depending on the chosen technique, work is performed using fine injections, microneedling, or a combination of both. For PRP, PRF, and biofiller, a small amount of blood is first drawn and processed.

Most treatments take approximately 20 to 45 minutes and can be performed on an outpatient basis.

Safety

Injectables and regenerative treatments require a thorough knowledge of skin, anatomy, and facial proportions.

The goal is always a treatment that is medically sound, remains subtle, and complements the patient’s natural appearance.

Not every concern is best addressed with injectables. In cases of significant skin laxity or structural changes, surgical treatment may sometimes be more appropriate.

Results

The result depends on the chosen treatment.

Some treatments, such as fillers, provide a more immediate visible effect. Other treatments, such as PRP, PRF, biofiller, polynucleotides, and biostimulators, work more gradually through skin repair, collagen stimulation, or tissue regeneration.

The goal remains the same: a fresher, more natural, and refined result without exaggerated changes.

Aftercare

After the treatment, temporary redness, slight swelling, small bruises, or injection points may be visible.

Most patients can resume their daily activities quickly.

With regenerative treatments, the result usually develops gradually in the weeks to months following the treatment. Multiple sessions are often recommended for an optimal effect.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about injectables and skin improvement answered

Which treatment is best for me?

This depends on your skin quality, anatomy, skin aging, and expectations. During the consultation, we will determine whether PRP, PRF, biofiller, skin boosters, fillers, botulinum toxin, or a combination is most suitable.

Are PRP, PRF, and biofiller more natural than classic fillers?

These treatments utilize the body’s own material. They are primarily focused on skin quality, repair, and subtle support, rather than pronounced volume.

When will I see results?

With fillers, the effect is usually visible more quickly. With regenerative treatments such as PRP, PRF, biofiller, polynucleotides, and biostimulators, the result develops gradually.

Can treatments be combined?

Yes. Different techniques are often combined to simultaneously improve skin quality, volume, expression, and collagen stimulation.

Is there much downtime?

Recovery time is usually limited. Redness, swelling, or small bruises may occur temporarily.
