ACS: autologous conditioned serum<\/h1>\n\n\n

ACS is a serum prepared entirely from your own blood, without any additives. It primarily has anti-inflammatory and regulatory effects, and is intended for mature, sensitive, or reactive skin. <\/p>\n\n\n

What is ACS?<\/h2>\n\n

ACS stands for autologous conditioned serum. Blood is drawn into tubes without anticoagulants or other additives. These tubes are then kept in a controlled incubator at body temperature for several hours. During this period, the concentration of anti-inflammatory signaling substances and growth factors increases significantly. <\/p>\n\n

The serum is then separated, filtered, and injected into the skin. It consists of 100 percent autologous material. <\/p>\n\n

How does it work?<\/h2>\n\n

While a classic platelet concentrate primarily has a regenerative effect, ACS is first and foremost regulatory. During incubation, white blood cells produce increased amounts of natural antagonists to inflammatory substances, including the interleukin-1 receptor antagonist. <\/p>\n\n

For skin that reacts in a chronically irritated, reactive, or inflamed manner, this can make the difference. Instead of stimulating the skin even further, the underlying inflammatory environment is dampened, making the skin calmer and more responsive to further care. <\/p>\n\n
